August/24 Highlights; Kubernetes Deployments, and Autoscaling Features: Optimizing API Performance and Infrastructure Stability

In August, Das Meta successfully completed 98 cloud infrastructure management tasks for our clients across the world. These tasks included checking and optimizing pipelines, conducting a PoC on Grafana with CloudWatch integration, implementing autoscaling configurations, enhancing monitoring through Grafana dashboards, migrating services to Kubernetes, and improving backup and recovery processes. Each task was carefully executed to ensure smooth deployments, increased scalability, and enhanced system reliability for our clients.

Resource Management and Autoscaling Enhancements

In May our infrastructure management team accomplished more than 100 tasks related to monitoring improvements, deployments, database management and more. This article delves into the work accomplished, highlighting the team's proactive approach to managing different infrastructures for our partners.

In August, we implemented advanced resource management solutions, including autoscaling configurations that optimize infrastructure performance during peak loads. Our team configured Horizontal Pod Autoscaling (HPA) across services and scaled down Aurora database replicas to reduce costs while maintaining high availability.

Kubernetes Migration and Service Deployment

A key focus for the month was migrating several services to Kubernetes, ensuring seamless deployment and scaling capabilities for our clients. This included deploying critical services to Kubernetes environments and stabilizing the infrastructure for optimal performance.

Monitoring and Observability Improvements

We deployed Grafana dashboards integrated with CloudWatch for real-time monitoring. This PoC allowed us to gain deeper insights into system metrics and set up comprehensive dashboards for our clients.

Pipeline Optimization and Stability Improvements

We tackled several pipeline issues in August, optimizing build times and ensuring the stability of CI/CD pipelines. These efforts helped accelerate development processes and streamline deployment workflows, reducing time to market for critical updates.

Security and Certificate Management

Our team ensured that all necessary security certificates were updated across environments, reinforcing the security posture of our clients' infrastructures. This included renewing SSL certificates and ensuring compatibility with existing services.
